What do Payment Method, Payment Frequency, and Estimated Payment Date mean?
Understanding Payment Method, Payment Frequency, and Estimated Payment Date
Every clinic must select their Payment Method and Payment Frequency. Payment Methods include:
- Email Transfer
- Cheque
- Direct Deposit
Regardless of the Payment Method chosen by a clinic, clinics can always make payments using Fairly Payments—our secure and convenient in-app payment system. The clinic decides which Payment Method to use, including whether to utilize Fairly Payments.
When Fairly Payments is used, your fee is deposited instantly into your in-app Fairly Wallet. From there, you can initiate a payout, and your funds will arrive in your bank account within 1 to 3 business days, depending on your bank's processing times.

Payment Frequency can be:
- Same Day
- Weekly
- Biweekly
Clinics must select one Payment Method and one Payment Frequency. Each time a clinic posts a shift, this information is clearly displayed in the Shift Details so you’ll know how and when you can expect to be paid.
Once you are hired for a shift, we will provide an Estimated Payment Date. This date is automatically calculated based on the clinic’s chosen Payment Frequency and is intended to give you an estimate of the latest date you should expect to receive payment.
The Estimated Payment Date is based on the clinic’s selected Payment Frequency; however, Fairly Staffing is not responsible for ensuring the clinic meets this date.
Unless the clinic chooses to use Fairly Payments, Fairly Staffing does not process payments on the clinic’s behalf. Without Fairly Payments, the clinic must pay you directly using an off-platform payment method. When a clinic does not use Fairly Payments, we have no visibility into the payment and cannot provide information or support regarding it.
If you have not received your payment by the Estimated Payment Date, please contact the clinic directly to resolve the issue. If the issue persists, reach out to us, and we’ll step in to help.
Fairly Staffing facilitates connections between clinics and temporary professionals; we do not hire, employ, or contract temps ourselves. Whether you are paid through Fairly Payments or directly by a clinic, you are fully and solely responsible for tracking, reporting, and remitting any and all taxes related to your earnings, as applicable. Fairly Staffing does not determine your employment status (employee or contractor), and we do not withhold or remit taxes on your behalf. The nature of your working relationship is strictly between you and the clinic.
