How does Fairly Payroll work (temp)?

Clinics may use Fairly Payroll to pay temps as employees. When a shift or role requires payroll, you’ll be guided through the necessary steps in the app.

Payroll Shifts for Temps

If a shift requires payroll:

• You’ll see that the shift requires Fairly Payroll

• You must complete payroll onboarding in the app before applying

• You’ll provide required personal and tax information

Getting Paid as a Temp on Fairly Payroll

Fairly Payroll uses a standard pay schedule:

• Work completed in one week is paid the following Friday

• If the clinic approves hours the same day as the shift:

  • Pay stays on schedule

• If approval is delayed:

  • Pay may be delayed accordingly

Paystubs, T4s, and ROEs

When paid through Fairly Payroll for Temps:

• You can access your paystubs directly in the app

  • Click "Fairly Payroll"
  • Click "Forms"

• You’ll receive a T4 at the end of the year

• An ROE will be issued 30 days after your shift

All documents are organized for easy access.

Fairly Payroll for Team Members

If you’re invited to join a clinic as a team member (permanent staff):

• You’ll be invited through the app

• You’ll provide your information during onboarding

• Once set up, you’ll be part of the clinic’s team

As a team member, you can:

• Clock in and out from the team-side of the app

  • Clinics may implement geofencing, requiring you to be within 20 meters of the clinic to check in

• Request time off

• Access your paystubs anytime
