Finding Surge Pay Shifts
Surge Pay shifts are designed to be easy to spot so you don't miss out on high-paying opportunities.
- Look for the Surge Pay badge on shift cards
- We will instantly alert you when a premium Surge Pay shift is posted in your area
Applying with a Premium Rate
Applying for a Surge Pay shift is just as easy as a regular shift, but we ensure you maximize your earnings during the process.
To apply for a Surge Pay shift:
- Click "Apply" on the Surge Pay shift
- Review the shift's premium rate range
- If your standard hourly rate is lower than the clinic's premium range, we will automatically prompt you to update your rate
- Enter a new rate that falls within the Surge Pay range
- This rate increase will only apply to this specific shift
- It will not permanently change your standard profile settings
- Click "Apply With New Rate" to submit your application
The clinic will instantly receive your application at the new, premium rate.
