How do I turn Temp Radar on/off (temp)?

What is Temp Radar?

Temp Radar lets clinics proactively reach out to you about open shifts that match your availability and location. Instead of only applying to posted shifts, Temp Radar gives you the option to be discovered by clinics and start a conversation first—on your terms.

When Temp Radar is on, clinics may message you about a shift, but you always stay in control of whether to engage.

How Temp Radar Works

• Clinics on the appropriate subscription tier can message Available Temps

• Clinics see a random selection of temps in their area (not a ranked list)

• You can choose to accept or reject any message request

• You can discuss shift details directly in chat

• You can adjust your hourly rate for that specific shift in the chat

• You can apply for the shift directly from the conversation

Turning Temp Radar On or Off

You can enable or disable Temp Radar at any time.

• Click "Settings"

• Click "Account"

• Click "Temp Radar"

• Click "On" or "Off"

Your preference takes effect immediately.

Accepting or Rejecting Clinic Messages

When a clinic reaches out:

• You’ll receive a message request

• You can review the shift details

• You can accept or reject the message request

If you reject it, the clinic will not be able to message you further about that shift.

Discussing a Shift and Applying

If you accept a message request:

• You can chat with the clinic about the shift

• You can change your hourly rate for that specific shift

• You can apply for the shift directly from the chat

Once you apply, the shift follows the normal hiring process.

When Should I Use Temp Radar?

Temp Radar is especially helpful if you:

• Want clinics to come to you

• Are flexible and open to last-minute or nearby shifts

• Want more visibility without constantly checking the app

If you prefer to only browse and apply to shifts yourself, you can simply keep Temp Radar turned off.
