How do I post a shift?
Posting a shift as a clinic.
Before you can create a shift, you must add a credit card to your account.
If this is your clinic’s first time posting a shift, you’ll also need to provide your clinic’s information. You’ll be prompted to enter this information when you create your first shift, or you can go to Settings > Clinic Information and add it manually. Be sure to click Save when you’re done. You can update this information at any time.

Shift Details
- Select if you would like Fairly Staffing to handle hiring for an additional charge
When Fairly Staffing assists with hiring, our priority is to fill your shift. Here’s what you need to know about how we make decisions:
- If the shift is urgent, we may prioritize filling it over meeting all your specific requirements.
- This could include hiring a temp whose rate is higher than your preferred range.
- We also prioritize speed: once we identify a good applicant, we will schedule the shift promptly rather than waiting for additional applicants.
- Our goal is to ensure coverage, even if it requires flexibility on your criteria.
Please choose this option only if you're comfortable with us prioritizing shift coverage over strict adherence to your preferences. Otherwise, we recommend not using this option.
- Choose the role you require

Additional preferences
- Specify preferred years of experience, certifications, software, training/skills, and rate range
- We'll use your preferences to help rank applicants as Perfect, Great, Good, or Potential fits
- You'll still be able to view all applicants. All temps who match the role you post for will be able to view the shift
- We'll use your preferences to help rank applicants as Perfect, Great, Good, or Potential fits
- Add an optional note that will be displayed in the shift details for temps to read
Matching and Visibility
- Applicants who meet your preferences will be ranked higher
- Applicants are ranked as Perfect, Great, Good, and Potential
- Ranking is not based on an applicant’s average rating or performance, but solely on how well they match your preferred qualifications, experience, and rate range
- The Rate Range is not visible to temps and is used only to determine how well applicants match your preferences
