How do I adjust my hourly rate?

Adjusting your hourly rate

To update your hourly rate:

  • Click "Settings"
  • Click "Role"
  • Click "Hourly Rate"
  • Enter your new hourly rate
  • Click "Save"

Updating your hourly rate will only affect shifts you apply to in the future. Shifts you have already applied to or been hired for will retain your previous rate.

You’re free to set your hourly rate however you like, and you keep 100% of what you earn from each shift! That said, keep in mind that other temps are also applying for the same shifts. If your rate isn’t competitive or is significantly higher than the typical range, you may not get hired.

If you’re finding it hard to get hired, try adjusting your rate downward to increase your chances. You can also boost your odds by completing your profile, writing a strong bio, and uploading a professional photo.

If you’re considering a shift that’s farther away, it’s totally reasonable to increase your rate slightly to account for the extra travel time and cost. Just remember to adjust your rate before applying for the shift.
