Types of Cancellations

Whenever you cancel a shift, it goes on you permanent record.

Cancellations are tracked with two separate metrics:

• Regular Cancellations
  • Any cancellation with more than 24 hours' notice

• Short-Notice Cancellations
  • Any cancellation with less than 24 hours' notice
  • Any Short-Notice Cancellation requires proof of the reason provided
    • This could be a doctor's note, for example

Results of Cancellations

• Clinics can view number of Regular and Short-Notice Cancellations, along with the reasons given 
  • Clinics are less inclined to hire a temp with a high number of cancellations
• Consistent cancellations may result in temporary or permanent suspension
  • Failure to provide sufficient proof for a Short-Notice Cancellation can result in an immediate suspension per Fairly Staffing's policies and Code of Conduct
